It’s been almost a week since breakout Chicago rapper, King Von, was shot and killed in Atlanta. This tragic incident occurred during a shootout outside of Monaco Hookah Lounge in the downtown area. Six people were shot in total as two of them died as a result of their injuries, this included Von. One remained in critical condition at a local hospital.
Von wasn’t able to make it after being rushed to get treatment. The young rapper was only 26-years-old.

Von’s autopsy has reportedly hit social media and fans were disgusted by what they saw. They don’t believe that it’s appropriate for something like this to go viral in the midst of what Von’s friends and family members are going through right now.
Some believe that people close to the shooter leaked this information but this hasn’t been fully confirmed yet. This definitely isn’t what Von’s loved ones need right now in the middle of their healing process.
One Suspect Has Already Been Charged With Murder In Von’s Death
On November 7, one day after the fatal shooting in Atlanta, police were able to secure warrants and charge 22-year-old Timothy Leeks with murder for the killing of Von, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Leeks ended up being shot as well where he was treated at a local hospital.
“Mr. Leeks is in police custody at Grady Hospital where he is undergoing treatment for a gunshot wound,” Atlanta police spokeswoman Marla Jean Rooker told AJC.com. “The homicide of Bennett is closed with this arrest.”
Von’s Murder Came A Week After Release Of ‘Welcome To O’Block’ Album
Prior to Von’s tragic end to his life, he had a very great week for his music career prior to that. On October 30, he released his new “Welcome to O’Block” album. The title honors the neighborhood of Chicago where he grew up in. This project contains 16 tracks with features from Lil Durk, Dreezy, Fivio Foreign, Polo G, and more. This ended up doing very well on the charts as it debuted at No. 13 on the Billboard 200, his highest debut for an album in his career.
Von’s Ex-Girlfriend, Asian Doll, Claimed To Have Known His Last Words
Asian Doll, who is a rising Dallas rapper and the ex-girlfriend of Von, claimed to have known what his last words were before his death. She said on Twitter “Von last words was ‘y’all let them n***as get up on me…. stop crying y’all let them get me.”
This has since been debunked by many people, including Von’s manager, Jameson Francois. He added that Doll claimed that she used a spirit reader to hear those final words by him.
